Master in Humanitarian Action and Peacebuilding - Joint programme between UNITAR and Oxford Brookes University – Protection of Civilians

I worked as the teaching assistant of the module on Protection of Civilians in Conflict and Post-Conflict Settings, focusing more specifically on the legal framework for the protection of the civilians and planning protection strategies in complex environments. During the course of 11 weeks (January-March), we examined some of the essential skills needed by professionals working in humanitarian action and peacebuilding. The objective of the module was to review critically issues related to the protection of civilians in conflict and post-conflict contexts by exploring different conceptual and operational frameworks.
